Sahara

Two years ago on the 24th February I packed my bag ready for the adventure of a lifetime - trekking 100km across the Sahara raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research.

I'd trained hard for the last 9 months so felt physically ready and was thrilled to have raised just short of £5000, however I was slightly apprehensive about all the unknowns ahead of me - not least being the whole camping/sleeping bag experience as I'm definitely not one for that!

My daily blip journal logged all the adventures of the 10 days, however with only one picture a day allowed there, you can imagine there were countless others that didn't make the Top 10!

Given it's now the two year anniversary I felt I should rectify that!

So here you go - a small selection of the most amazing trip ever!

Christmas Fun!

Bill and I had our usual antics getting the Christmas card in the bag - he is such a tolerant wee chap - though goodness know how many treats we got through!

A few of the out-takes/runner ups below followed by the one that won the vote!

And Bill says "woof woof, woof woof woof, woof" *
