Cherished memories ...

… should be showcased on your walls rather than keeping them trapped in a disc forever more!

Something I whole heartedly believe in, so to work with the lovely Rachael Tapping from Pink, Blue and You towards the end of last year (who has this belief at the very centre of her business) was a complete joy - and what fun we had along the way too!

Rachael was looking for a range of images to use on her new website for her unique photo art. Working with your own images, Rachael transforms them into a contemporary stylised piece of art to take pride of place in your home. And whatever the occasion, memory or subject - from weddings through to pets, children growing up, anniversaries and everything else in-between - Rachael puts a huge amount of care and attention into each piece making sure that each family memory is beautifully displayed.

So over a few sessions we worked together to capture the images she was looking for - from product shots, to some stylised images and then of course some portraits of her with her beautiful black lab, Humphrey.

And as always, my ever present helper just had to get in on the act  - well there were dog biscuits involved so you couldn't really blame him ;-)

New Year's diet?

Not with this deliciousness around!!!

I've worked with Sophie, the artisan baker of M'Hencha, on several occasions over the last few years and our latest shoot towards the end of last year was all about creating a few alternative images for how this gorgeous cake can be enjoyed.

We had lots of fun (even the challenge of the candles provided more than a few laughs!) and now nearly every size is covered - from treat all the way through to a gorgeous five tier wedding stack.

So if you've not already tasted the delights of M'Hencha, prepare to awaken your senses with an exotic taste journey to Morocco and back. It's jam-packed full of almond frangipane, citrus zests and rosewater, all wrapped up in brick pastry topped with pistachios. A mixture of crisp crunch and gooey yumptiousness for sure! Perfect at any time of the day and my freezer always has some in it!

And if you go all the way to the bottom of this post you'll see that, as always, my wee helper just had to get in on the act!!!

Christmas Fun!

Bill and I had our usual antics getting the Christmas card in the bag - he is such a tolerant wee chap - though goodness know how many treats we got through!

A few of the out-takes/runner ups below followed by the one that won the vote!

And Bill says "woof woof, woof woof woof, woof" *
