I met Elsa later on this summer after I'd done a fabulous shoot with her son and his family - where I got what I think is one of my favourite images this year! He'd passed on my details to see if I could help with the challenge of ensuring that the beautiful colours and textures of Elsa's paintings were captured in the images to be used on her website and in exhibition catalogues.
And what a fun challenge this was!
Elsa is such a lovely lady and an amazing painter. Her studio is a wonderful Aladdin's cave full of all sorts of goodies and her home is filled with the most fabulous collection of paintings - including some of her son's work - he definitely takes after his mother!
Her next exhibition isn't until March next year, so the 30 or so paintings will be spread over the next few months - though if they're anything like the first 6 it'll be a stunning collection and I can't wait to see the rest!
